The BBglow treatment is a non-surgical, minimally invasive procedure that uses a highly effective tinted pigment that is applied to the skin with a nano-needle or microneedle. It promotes collagen production and skin rejuvenation. The BB glow serum nourishes your skin while also giving it the color you want.

Fewer freckles, brighter and more radiant skin, reduce skin discoloration, even skin tone, and fewer wrinkles and fine lines are all benefits of the treatment. It’s a type of semi-permanent makeup that, with the right treatments and aftercare, can last up to six months.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
The therapist uses a micro-needling pen and a Stayve white serum with the foundation to give you instant sheer coverage while also minimizing pores and smoothing fine lines and wrinkles. The serum contains hyaluronic acid, which makes your skin look plumper and more radiant, as well as vitamin C, which helps to treat freckles and hyperpigmentation.

The serum also works on the inside of your skin. A micro-needling pen is used by the therapist to penetrate the foundation into the skin. The micro-needling pen causes trauma to the skin, forcing the body to go into its natural repair mode, which increases collagen and elastin production.

TREATMENT TIME
It takes about an hour to apply BB glow, including skin preparation time. You will notice immediate results after the first session, but for long-term effective results, you may need four sessions spaced two weeks apart. Every 4 to 5 months, you can return to the therapist for maintenance treatment.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Following your consultation, the therapist will deep cleanse your skin with a custom cleanser based on your skin type to remove oil and debris. After that, you’ll get a dermaplane treatment to get rid of any excess skin, peach fuzz, and the like.

Following Dermaplaning, the therapist will apply a Stayve whitening serum to neutralize your skin, restore its optimal pH, reduce redness, and hydrate it. They’ll also apply a custom booster serum tailored to your skin’s needs and use the micro-needling pen to boost the treatment’s results.

They’ll select a BB glow serum in your desired shade and use the micro-needling pen to infuse it into your skin. They’ll do this twice, then apply a bio silk mask over the BB glow serum to keep your skin hydrated and soothed while also preventing it from drying out.

After that, an LED mask will be applied to aid in product absorption and better results. Finally, a peptide repair cream will be massaged into your treated skin to restore and soothe it.

DOWNTIME
There is no downtime, and you can go back to your regular routine. Following the treatment, you may experience temporary tightness, redness, or irritation.

AFTERCARE ADVICE

After the treatment, you will be unable to wash the face for 24 hours.
Aftercare tips include:
Avoid wearing makeup for 3 days
Avoid sunbathing, including sunbeds
Avoid using any scented skincare products
Avoid saunas, hot tubs, hot showers and baths, and hairdryers for 48 hours (shower and bathe with room temperature water and use a hairdryer on medium to low settings)
Avoid swimming for 7 days
Avoid washing your face for 24 hours
Avoid eating spicy food and seafood for 3 days
Avoid using retinol products and vitamin C for 8 weeks
Wear a moisturizing cream with an SPF 30 or higher
